A Nigeria Sports Administrator has donated N200,000 to the Sports writing family in Nigeria to serve as his own personal way of assisting the pen pushers at a time nations are yet to recover from the Corona Virus pandemic that has caught the world by surprise and still wrecking havoc across the globe.
Making this disclosure a few hours ago, the admin of a foremost Journalist group known as the Nigeria Sports Movement, Adewale Ajayi also popularly refered to as Senior Advocate of Journalists (SAJ), the philantropic gesture is coming at a time that Journalists have been one of the worst hit as the world continues to grapple with the socio-economic effects of the Covid-19 debacle.
“We have just received N200,000 from a foremost Sports Administrator in Nigeria. He was at a time a Sports Commissioner in Ogun State, he wouldn’t want his name out there but he is the one everybody knows to be a Talk n Do administrator. He is a friend of Journalists and he has once again demonstrated that he is the man with a golden heart. I am in awe of this great man from Abeokuta”, Wale Ajayi revealed even as he had more words of praise for the donor.
“We can’t thank him enough as members of NSM will now have something to take care of their needs like face masks, sanitizers and much more at this period”, the Canada based Journalist concluded.
The donor is a member of the NSM family.
