It was a busy day Thursday as members of the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC) stormed the sit of Government in their hundreds turning the Lagos State House of Assembly complex into a bee hive of sporting activities.
Led by the clubs’ president, Mr Vincent Okumagba, members of the Execurives and other emminent personalities in the state, the Super Eagles Supporters Club increased in strength by conferring membership status on some top ranking government officials of Lagos state.
First on the list was the speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa who became the Patron of the club while the Chairman, Lagos House Committee on Youth, Sports and Social Development, Hon Moshood Olanrewaju Oshun became a club Ambassador.
Another Lagos state House of Assembly member, representing Surulere Constituency, Hon Desmond Olushola Elliot was also honoured as a SESC club Ambassador.
Rounding off the occassion, the PRO of SESC, Olutoye Orishabiyi, called on the newly inducted members to become great Ambassadors of the club and leave their footprints on the sands of time as the club aims to take sports supportership to the next level in the country.
