Former Super Eagles Media Officer Identifies with Nigeria Media in Fight Against Corona

The Nigeria sports media on Saturday received yet another boost in the fight against the spread of the dreaded Corona Virus as a one-time Super Eagles goal keeper and media officer on Saturday donated hand sanitizers and face masks to the pen pushing professionals.

Peterside Idah, one time Super Eagles goal keeper who retired from the game in 2002 made the donations in recognition of the giant strides towards sensitization and mobilization of the sporting fraternity against the Corona Virus pandemic taken by members of a whatsapp group Nigeria Sports Modulation ( NSM) led by the group administrator, Adewale Ajayi.

The former Tembisa Classic and Moroka Swallows of South Africa goal keeper decided to identify with members of his constituency as he once played the role of the Super Eagles media officer upon retirement from active football.

“Common guys, Adewale Ajayi has been able to think outside the box and he is helping his colleagues and jointly they are fighting the Corona pandemic, I really commend them”, Peterside Idah confessed as he promised to always be a pillar of support to the Nigeria Media anytime he is called upon even as he also made monetary donations as a palliative measure at this trying times.

Peterside Idah is now a pastor at Christ Ambassadors church in Kempton Park, South Africa.
