A 2nd half header by Femi Omotayo, former Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Gateway FC player was all it took to separate the All Star parade of Galaxies on Saturday as Bariga All star got the better of Ijede All star in Lagos.
The match played on the lush green grass of the Egbin Power PLC, Egbin station, witnessed the presence of the creme de la creme of Nigerian ex-football Stars, retired but not tired footballers.
Solomon Olukoya formerly of Julius Berger and Bendel Insurance, Tunde Adekunle one time Remo Stars goal keeper, Alaba Balogun, Ex-Union Bank and Berger defender, Emeka Onwumere of Gateway and others turned out for Bariga All Stars while Baba Ali, Ex-NEPA Ilorin, Utility Bombers, Prince Oges Samson, Ex-Delta Stars, Housing Corporation, Sunshine Stars, Segun Matiminu, NEPA Lagos, Yinka Prat, NEPA Lagos, Ado Den Haag, Netherlands, Eberefe Rasheed, NEPA Lagos, Akanji Mojeed, Udoji United and other former players turned out for Ijede All Stars.
The match was a friendly kick about turned competitive amongst the once great footballers.
