Igbinidu Inneh, Edo Internal Revenue Chairman now a Crescenter

Sunday June 6th 2021 was a day that will easily go down as one of the most special days in the history of the Crescent Sports Club of Benin as a prominent son of the land, Igbinidu Inneh became a member of the club.

The Crescent Sports Club, one of the foremost recreation clubs in Benin-City with facilities for football, tennis and table tennis officially welcomed the Edo Internal Revenue Chairman into their midst with pomp and pageantry as the training ground was turned into a carnival of some sorts after the Sunday morning football training.

In line with the tradition of the club, an aspiring new member after going through due diligence and clearances, is expected to fete the other members of the club and Mr Igbinidu Inneh didn’t disappoint as there was more than enough to eat and drink on the day.

Speaking at the induction session, the president of the club, Ambassador Andrew Ehighaluwa made it clear that the club is a respecter of families and that everyone at Crescent Sports Club is one big family

“On behalf of the Exco, I want to sincerely welcome you to our great club, C.S.C. I hope your induction will bring more joy and peace to the club. It’s great you are here with your family and as from today, they are all members of C.S.C”, the president affirmed.

The new member is expected to be properly briefed by the club secretary, Ehiabhi Jackson Ose on the rules and regulations governing the club as well as individual’s code of conduct.

Crescent Sports Club boasts of the high and mighty in the society as members including a former Edo State Governor, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, a former president of the NBA, Austin Alegeh (SAN), Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Matthew Aikhionbare, both former secretary to Edo State Government, AIG of police, Wilson Akhiwu (rtd), Business Mogul, Nosa Ebomoyi and a host of others.
