Coach Paul Aigbogun has invited eight foreign professional players to prosecute the forthcoming 2019 World under 20 World Cup coming up in Poland, May this year.
Report reaching scorerfootballmagazine.com has it that eight foreign based players have been invited to join up with the Flying Eagles ahead of the World Youth Championship.
The players invited are Alhassan Yusuf (IFK Goteborg, Sweden), Jerome Akor (Sogndal, Norway) and Hamdi Akujobi (SC Heerenveen, Holland), Igho Ogbu (Rosenborg, Norway), Chinedu Ekene (Hoffenheim, Germany), Jubril Abubakar (FC Midtjylland, Denmark), Nnamdi Oforborh (Bournemouth, England) and Dele Bashiru (Watford).
The 2005 silver medallists will look out to better their former years performance as they will be facing Ukraine, USA and Qatar at the group stage of the tournament which kicks off on May 23.
The invited foreign based players will at the end of this month team up with the team in their Germany camp will by the end of this month team up with the other local based players who have been in Abuja training camp.
