Fresh from distributing N5,000 and N10,000 to 100 indigent members of the Super Eagles Supporters Club across the country, the executives of the football fans club have come up with yet another important palliative for the moment which is the production of covid-19 compliant face masks.
Making this revelation to scorerfootballmagazine.com, the president of the Super Eagles Supporters Club, Prince Vincent Okumagba presently in Canada to welcome the birth of his grand child, disclosed that the health and wellbeing of it’s members nationwide is of primary concern to the executive board members of the club hence the decision to manufacture the quality face masks at this time.
“The masks are being mass produced at the moment and before Monday we shall start distributing them to our members Nationwide”.
“With the directive from the various government agencies instructing people to wear face masks before stepping out of their homes and considering the rising cost of the regular surgical masks, the Super Eagles Supporters Club decided to sponsor the production of the customized masks for free distribution to our members nationwide but with greater attention to states with high Coronavirus infection figures”, Okumagba explained.
When asked how he has been co-ordinating the club since he has been in the diaspora, Prince Okumagba replied that the club is run by a well structured hierarchy of eminent and goal getting elected members who can hold forth in his absence.
“Our club is well structured and like you know we have 21 members in the executives. When I am not around the deputy president takes charge . I am in touch daily but I have absolute confidence in the board. The members are in safe hands” he concluded.
The Federal Government has lifted the restriction of daytime movement effective May 4th in all parts of the country with Kano as an exception but with emphasis on the use of face masks by the citizenry at all times.
